Abstract The present Law establishes legal, social, organizational and economic relations within peasant farms and is directed at setting up conditions for equal in rights development along with other forms of economic management, ensuring guarantees of economic and social protection in the activity of the aforementioned economic entities. The Law consists of 5 Sections that contain 24 articles. Section 1 (arts. 1-2) lays down general provisions. Section 2 (arts. 3-7) regards setting up peasant farm, concession of agricultural land and its tenure. Section 3 (arts. 8-9) regards property of peasant farm. Section 4 (arts. 10-22) establishes the foundations of functioning of peasant farm. Section 5 (arts. 23-24) regards cessation of activity of peasant farm.
