Abstract This Law, consisting of 33 articles divided into two Chapters, regulates the obligation of inspection on animal, vegetable and processed microorganism products originated from the Federal District and intended for human consumption, within the limits of its geographical area. It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of competent authorities related to agricultural inspections for veterinarian, agronomist, food engineer, technology and nutrition.
