This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law, consisting of 17 articles, creates the Economic Development Fund of the State of Pará (FDE), dealt with in Article 40 of the Transitory Provisions Act of the Constitution of the State of Pará. The purpose of the FDE is to finance programmes and projects considered relevant for the economic development of the State of Pará, in order to reduce regional and social inequalities, as well as to guarantee the competitiveness of the economic enterprises installed in the State and the capacity to attract new investments, in accordance with the guidelines of the Multi-Year Plan, through agricultural financing. The financing of productive activities dealt with will be directed, preferably, to agricultural micro-enterprises, small businesses, mini and small rural producers, associations and cooperatives.
