Abstract The present Law governs research and use of outer space. Activities in outer space shall include: (a) research and (b) distant zoning of the Earth, including ecological monitoring. The scope of activity in outer space shall be scientific data collection on the Earth and outer space. The Act consists of 7 Sections divided into 30 articles: (1) general provisions; (2) organization of activity in outer space; (3) economic conditions; (4) extraterrestrial objects and infrastructure; (5) safety of the activity in outer space; (6) international cooperation; (7) liability.
