Abstract This Law sets forth the establishment, functions, duties, powers and responsibilities of the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The Law defines the main function and responsibility of the Institution as: the implementation of rural development programs using the resources provided by the European Union and other international organizations. Article. 4 of the Law defines other duties and responsibilities of the Institution as: Evaluation the applications and project proposals, designation projects to be supported, management and control of financial matters concerning the implementation of the projects, preparing project reports and establishing a database on the functions of the Institution and on the projects. The Law states that organization chart of the Institution is divided into central and provincial. The central organization consists of the main service units, the consultation and audit units and the auxiliary service units, and the provincial organization consist of the provincial coordinators.
