Abstract This Law provides for tree planting against the sale of a new car within the Federal District. It establishes the obligation for all concessionaires and automobile stores to plant tree saplings for each car sold within the Federal District. The Brasília Environmental Institute (IBRAM) will indicate the nearest conservation area for complying with the provisions above established.
