Abstract

The aim of this Law is to regulate agricultural relationships. The Law is composed of 5 Sections divided into 167 articles. Section I deals with terms and definitions. Section II regulates agricultural work relationships regarding contracts, women and juvenile work, collective work contracts and collective negotiations, salaries, work terms and durations, vacations and holidays, sanitary services and habitation, termination of agricultural work relationships and safety warranties. Section III provides for farms, type of land, contracts and the obligations of contracting parties, shares and agricultural investment classification. Section IV pertains to the inspection, dispute settlement, contracts for fruit sale. Section V contains offences and penalties.
