Abstract This Law is composed of 3 Sections divided into 28 articles. Section 1 deals with Protected forests; definition and terms; establishment of the Protection Forest Department and its competencies; classification of protected forests, implementation, management and prohibitions. Section 2 provides for the management of protected forests. Section 3 specifies the prohibited activities and works into the aforementioned forests and contains offences and penalties.
