This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law, consisting of 19 articles and 2 Annexes, establishes the State Technical Registry of Potentially Polluting Activities and those using Environmental Resources as well as the Environmental Control and Inspection Fee, under the Brazilian Institute for Environmnent and Natural Renewable Resources (IBAMA). These Environmental State Registry establishes requirements to be satisfied to perform authorized activities and specify protecting measures to control the potentially polluting activities of the environment within the State. In particular, it defines the obligation of the registration and authorization to use natural resources, as well as to perform any activity related to: extraction, production, transport and trade of potentially harmful products to environment, including transport or trade of endangered animal species.
