This Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Law applies to medicinal plants or their parts such as roots, underground stems, tubers, flowers, fruits and seeds, stems, bark and foliage containing biological agents used in the manufacturing of medicinal preparations. It establishes the modalities for processing raw materials of plant origin for use in medicinal preparations. Only plants or parts thereof certified as safe and radiation-free shall be used to manufacture medicinal preparations of plant origin.
