Abstract This Law, consisting of 4 Chapters, establishes the Food Safety requirements. It regulates supervision and management, preventing measures, control and treatment of risks and processing mechanisms related to food security, in consideration of guaranteeing human health. It applies to production and trade of foodstuff, as well as to the use of food additives and related products.
