Abstract This Law, consisting of 20 articles, establishes actions and procedures for Plant Sanitary Protection within the Federal District. It establishes the phytosanitary requirements to be satisfied in order to regulate plant protection, defines the objectives, prescribes offences and penalties for illegal activities and specifies the actions to be taken in order to prevent entry, dissemination and propagation of plant pests within the Federal District.
