Abstract

The present Law establishes the priority directions of popularization and protection of breastfeeding and infants by maternal milk, organizational and legal basis of control of production, import, advertising and trade of artificial foodstuffs, and regulates the relations in the afore-mentioned sphere. The document consists of V Secs. that contain 14 Arts. Section I (arts. 1-3) lays down general provisions. Section II (Arts. 4-6) regards protection of breastfeeding. Section III (Arts. 7-10) regards regulation of artificial infant feeding. Section IV (Arts. 11-12) establishes rights and duties of subjects of medical activity, manufacturers and distributors. Section V (Arts. 13-14) lays down final provisions.
