This Law enters into force 30 days after its publication.
Abstract

This Law, consisting of 3 Chapters, creates the National Council of Water (CNAS). It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned National Council, which is a consulting governmental institution, entitled to program, harmonize and coordinate public or private activities at national and municipal levels, related to the implementation of Water and Water Sanitation National Policies.
