Abstract This Law establishes legal, organizational and economic basis of licensing of the activities subject to licensing and is aimed at the ensuring the observance of terms and conditions required for carrying out the licensed activities. The following activities shall be licensed: (a) import, export, manufacturing, storage and trade of liquors and ethyl alcohol; (b) import and processing of tobacco; (c) manufacturing and wholesale trade of seeds and planting material; (d) pedigree stockbreeding; and (e) extraction and bottling of mineral and potable water. Licence must contain the following data: (a) licensing authority; (b) serial number of licence and date of issue; (c) legal address of licence holder; (d) date and number of state registration of the enterprise, taxpayers’ number thereof; (e) type of activity; (f) period of validity of licence; and (g) signature and seal of the licensing authority. Licence shall be valid on the whole national territory. The period of validity of licence shall be five years except for activities related to liquors and tobacco for which the period of validity of licence shall be one year.
