Entry into force notes
This Law enters into force the day after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Law establishes the modalities of management, storage, projecting and construction of storage facilities for spent nuclear fuel extracted from nuclear reactors of national origin. Centralized storage facilities for spent nuclear fuel shall be integral part of unified complex for storage and treatment of spent nuclear fuel of specialized state enterprise “Chernobyl nuclear plant”. Spent nuclear fuel shall be kept in storage facilities for the whole period of functioning of storage facilities.
