Abstract This Law restructures the Regulatory Agency for Water and Sanitation of the Federal District (ADASA/DF), linked to the State Secretariat for Urban Development and the Environment (SEDUMA), of the organizational structure of the Government of the State. This Regulatory Agency has the institutional mission of regulating the use of water and public services in this federated entity, with the aim of promoting the sustainable management of water resources and the quality of energy and sanitation services. In accordance with its institutional mission, ADASA's basic purpose is to regulate the use of water and public services within the jurisdiction of the Federal District.
