Production and marketing of beer and wine, importation and marketing of whiskey can be made by individuals and private agencies. Production and marketing of any other spirits and alcoholic drinks can only be made by the State Monopoly Organization. Those who wish to produce or import methyl alcohol are obliged to obtain permission from the State Monopoly Organization. Those who wish to sell spirits and alcoholic drinks, including beer, are obliged to have license from the State Monopoly Organization. Licensing procedure is defined in the Law. The Law provides for distribution and agency network, pricing and packaging. Full text English
