Abstract This Law amends the Animal Health Protection within the State of Rondônia. Amended Item VI is added to art. 3 of Law No. 982 of 2001, which provides for Animal Health Protection within the State of Rondônia and repeals Law 886 of 21 March 2000 and Law No. 969 of 25 January 2001. It establishes administrative and legal proceedings as follows: the Agro-Silvo-Pastoralism Health Protections Agency of the State of Rondônia - IDARON, is obliged to issue the formal prior notification, with a deadline of 30 days for the rural producer to regularize the preventive vaccination in calves of bovine herd, besides promoting widespread official information about periodic vaccination against brucellosis disease.
