Abstract This Law, consisting of 15 Chapters, creates the National Programme for School Feeding and Health (PNASE) which will be managed by a National Coordination System, aiming at satisfying the nutrition needs and creating healthy food habits into the primary school's students of the National territory. The Law creates the above mentioned National Programme (PNASE), which will be under the Educational and Administrative Direction of the Ministry of Education. PNASE performs its activities with the collaboration with competent local authorities (until 2011 they were carried out with the World Food Programme of the United Nations). Beneficiaries of the above mentioned Programme are students and/or enrolled children in primary education within the Democratic Republic of Sao Tomé e Príncipe (specified in the text).
