Abstract This Law establishes the system of state arrangements for the prevention of Iodine Deficiency Disorder (IDD). This Law establishes that salt destined for alimentary and fodder purposes shall be iodinated. Salt quality, safety and contents of free iodine, iodination methods and iodine contents control methods shall comply with the national standards.
