This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law establishes the environmental indicators of the Environmental Information System of the Federal District, created by art. 279 of the Law of the Federal District, and creates the Environmental Atlas of the Federal District. The environmental indicators of the Environmental Information System of the Federal District will consolidate surveys and measurements on the quality of: air; surface and underground waters; supply water; soil permeability; sewage collection and treatment; solid waste collection and treatment; areas of erosion and siltation; areas at risk of flooding or landslides; areas at risk of explosion; fire risk areas; contaminated areas; noise pollution; visual pollution; electromagnetic pollution; radioactive pollution; vegetal cover; biodiversity; afforestation and urban green areas; conservation units; climatic and meteorological variations; seismicity and vibrations; population growth and density; urban activities; industrial activities; agriculture and livestock activities; plant and mineral extraction activities. The environmental indicators will be consolidated in cartographic means, georeferenced in digital means, and will have the administrative region as their basic territorial unit.
