This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

The purpose of this Law is to establish mechanisms for the protection and promotion of human health, prevention and control of diseases, as well as threats and risks to Public Health. It applies to public administration bodies and institutions, citizens and other natural or legal entities, who contribute to the promotion of health, the prevention and control of diseases and the preservation of public health, regardless of their social, economic status and their political and religious convictions. Chapter 3 deals with risks to Public Health such as: d) rivers, lakes, wells, swimming pools or other sources of water that may be polluted or contaminated; f) air pollution from any source above legally permitted limits; h) raising animals in places or ways that pose a risk to Public Health; environmental risks and their effects on health, including the presence of polluting agents in the environment, as well as the potential impact of exposure to electromagnetic emissions, etc.
