Abstract This Law, consisting of 64 articles divided into six Chapters and a Glossary, establishes principles and rules applicable to the entire business sector of the State (SEE). The State's business sector is made up of the set of production and commercial units of the State, organized and managed in a business manner, comprising public companies and companies exclusively or majority-owned by the State. It aims namely to perform the following activities: to implement the strategies outlined by the Government for the State business sector; to provide services and activities of public interest; to develop commercial activities whose feasibility is proven in previously developed studies and to contribute to the public purse. It does not apply to companies with minority interests held by the State.
