Abstract The document consists of 7 Chapters that contain 31 Articles. The present Act establishes legal, economic and organizational basis for regulation of the relations in the sphere of transportation of hazardous substances on the national territory and is aimed at rising up the safety level of transportation of hazardous substances, prevention of disasters and incidents in the process of carrying out the aforesaid activity. Objects of transportation of hazardous substances are hazardous cargo, transport means, communications, constructions, devices and other property used for transportation of hazardous substances. Transportation of hazardous substances is subject to licensing. Certification of some work and services in the sphere of transportation of hazardous substances is carried out within National certification system in conformity with legislation currently in force. Only hazardous substances listed as authorized ones shall be authorized for transportation. Hazardous substances unfit for use as a result of disasters and incidents must be collected and reclaimed.
