The Law and the amendments to the Convention and the Protocol shall enter into force when the requirements of article 16 to the Convention shall be fulfilled.
Abstract

This law ratifies the amendments made in 1995 to the Convention for the Protection of the Mediterranean Sea against Pollution and the amendments of 1996 to the Protocol for the Protection of the Mediterranean Sea against Pollution from Land-based Sources (article 1 of the present law). Article 2 to this Law establishes the competent authorities for the implementation of the provisions of both the Convention and Protocol and replaces paragraph 1, article 3 of Law No. 885/1978 and paragraph 2, art
