Abstract This Law, consisting of 7 articles, establishes the State Policy on Sustainable Tourism of the State of Tocantins. It aims at promoting: labour supply and employment by fostering the sustainable tourism activities; the dissemination at national and international level the tourist capabilities of the State; the development of sustainable tourism potentiality in all regions of the State; the sharing of knowledge in the field of tourism with similar national, international and foreign entities; organize the various tourism segments, setting quality standards; provide the various social groups access to sustainable tourism practiced in the State; etc. Full text Portuguese Website www.al.to.gov.br
