Abstract An agricultural co-operative organization (hereinafter referred as ASO) is an autonomous union of persons, which is constituted voluntarily and seeks, with the reciprocal help of its members, economic, social and cultural growth and their promotion via a co-owned and democratically managed enterprise. As ASO are considered fishery, poultry, apiculture e sericulture, forestall, agro-touristic and other co-operative organisations of rural economy.
