Abstract This Law aims at establishing an integrated prevention and control of pollution resulting from industrial activities on the territory of Romania, by establishing the conditions for the prevention or, if not possible, for the reduction of emissions to air, water and soil, as well as for the prevention of waste generation, and for the purpose of achieving of a high level of environmental protection in general. The reports submitted to the European Commission by the Central Public Authority for Environmental Protection shall contain information on the implementation of this Law, representative emission data and other aspects of pollution, emission limit values, application of best available techniques (article 71).
