This Law enters into force on the date of publication.
Abstract

This law, composed of 3 articles, forbids the implantation or extension of industries using mercury and diaphragm cells for the production of soda-chlorine in the State of Rio de Janeiro. It requires for those industries to adapt their production plants with environmental friendly processes within three years.
