Abstract

This Law, moving from the consideration that the rich cultural heritage of the country may be utilised to develop creative economy, in order to improve the welfare and the global competitiveness of the country, and therefore to achieve the sustainable development goals, concerns the creative economy, as the manifestation of added value from intellectual property originating from human creativity, and based on cultural heritage, science and technology. The Law focuses on: creative economic actors; creation of new job opportunities; business standardisation and professional certification in the field of creative economy; funding and financing; incentives to protect the creative economy and the related research activities; development of a creative education system; procedures for facilitating the record and protection of intellectual property rights; duties of government and of its agencies in the field of creative economy.
