Abstract This Law aims to protect the new plant varieties. The provisions of this Law are applicable to the varieties specified in the Regulations issued by the Council of Ministers. The Ministry shall create a Register named “The New Plant Variety Register”. The Law provides details regarding the right to register new varieties and the registration procedures.
