Abstract This Law defines fee types and rates for license for trade, and the terms and procedures for their payment. Licence fees (except local licence fees set by local self-government and administrative agencies of) shall be assessed as a single mandatory payment made to the central budget at the rate prescribed by this Law. Licences shall be granted to natural or legal persons to engage in activities defined under the Law of Georgia on Licensing of Entrepreneurial Activity and by other statutes. The following activities shall be subject to licence fees: (a) exploration of mineral resources; and (b) mining.
