Abstract This Law regulates food and tobacco manufacturing licences and permits, covering: (a) alcoholic beverages and wine; (b) beer, non-alcoholic beverages and water, including commercial mineral water products; and (c) food and tobacco products of all other types (including baby food). A licence holder shall carry out the licensable production stipulated by this Law based on a permit granted to an appropriate enterprise, the procedure and conditions of which shall be determined by the Law of Georgia on the Principles for Granting an Entrepreneurial Activity Licenses and Permits and this Law. The Minster of Food and Agriculture of Georgia shall approve by order the form of a licence certificate. Any activity stipulated by this Law carried out without a valid licence and permit shall be illegal six months after its entry into force. Full text English Website www.tech.org.ge
