Abstract

This Law, consisting of 11 articles, regulates the State Fund for Environment (FUEMA) within the State of Tocantins, created by Law No. 261 and under the Institution called "Natureza do Tocantins" (NATURATINS). It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Fund, entitled to financing the following sectors: plans, programmes or projects related to preservation, conservation and/or the rehabilitation of the State environment, aiming at the implementation of the State Environmental Policy.
