The Law enters into force from the date of its official publication.
Abstract

The present Law establishes economic, social and legal basis for setting up and functioning of peasant farms. Peasant farm is a form of entepreneurial activity by the Ukrainian nationals with the purpose of production and processing of agricultural commodities. The Law ensures the right of citizens to creation of the aforementioned enterprises, independence of their management, and equality with other forms of management in the sphere of agro-industrial complex and equality of rights to those employed by peasant farms with the workers of other branches of economy. The document consists of 8 Sections that contain 33 articles. Section 1 (arts. 1-3) lays down general provisions. Section 2 (arts. 4-15) regards setting up peasant farm. Section 3 (arts. 16-19) regards property of peasant farms. Section 4 (arts. 20-24) regards functioning of peasant farms. Section 5 (arts. 25-28) regards inter-relations between banking institutions, insurance companies, and social security and welfare institutions. Section 6 (arts. 29-30) regards cessation of activity of peasant farm. Section 7 (arts. 31-32) regards provision of peasant farms with personnel and scientific research information. Section 8 (art. 33) establishes liability for the infringement of the present Law.
