Abstract The present Law regulates relations connected with legal basis of activity in the sphere of land use planning between organs of state power, local self-government, authorized institutions in the field of management of land resources, natural and legal persons as regards ensuring rational use and protection of land resources. The document consists of 5 Chapters that contain 36 articles. Chapter 1 (arts. 1-7) lays down general provisions. Chapter 2 (arts. 8-13) regards management of land use planning activity. Chapter 3 (arts. 14-28) establishes the main directions and types of land use planning activity. Chapter 4 (arts. 29-33) regards land use planning documentation.
