Abstract This Law, consisting of 17 articles, provides for Animal Health protection within the State of Amapá. This State Law prohibits the practice of mistreatment of animals. It establishes that any actions resulting from carelessness, clumsiness or voluntary and intentional act, which undermines domestic, urban, native or exotic animal health is strictly prohibited in the State.
