Abstract This Law provides for specific action to support rural youth in the State of Ceará, consisting of the financing of projects approved by the Secretariat of Agrarian Development (SDA). This financing goes to the account of resources provided for in Loan Agreement no. 8986-BR, between the State of Ceará and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (Bird), for the execution of the Sustainable Rural Development Project (São José III Project – 2nd Phase). The objectives of the action are: promote the economic and social autonomy of family-based Rural Youth; develop entrepreneurship and market skills in order to strengthen and expand sales channels; qualify in management and technological innovation; promote the participation of rural youth as protagonists in the process of affirming the permanence of young people in the countryside/Rural Succession; contribute to the implementation of good production practices, increase climate resilience and strengthen healthier and more sustainable food systems, with special observance of agroecological practices, administration with an emphasis on social organizations, and community tourism; supporting family-based Rural Youth initiatives that allow for the continuous generation of income for Rural Youth.
