Abstract

This Law regulates inspection and commercialization of products of animal and vegetable origin produced in small-scale establishments and family agro-industry artisanal products within the State of Santa Catarina. Small businesses and family farms registered at the Municipal Inspection Service (SIM) are authorized to sell their products within the municipalities of the Association of Municipalities to which they belong, without registration with the State Inspection Service (SIE). In addition, the Law establishes that hygienic-sanitary requirements of the above mentioned products must be taken into account.
