This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law aims at regulating the breeding of fish of the genus Pangasianodon Hypophthalmus, popularly known as Pangasius or iridescent shark catfish (Peixe-Panga), by allowing to private aquaculture-owned with a view to producing and selling this fish. Agreements, partnerships or terms of technical cooperation may be entered into to comply with the provisions of this Law.
