Abstract This Law, consisting of two Chapters and two Annexes, defines the baselines for the delimitation and demarcation of Maritime Zones of waters under Angolan jurisdiction. It specifies the width of the maritime zones under national jurisdiction and sovereignty, including the Territorial Sea, Contiguous Zone, Exclusive Economic Zone and the Continental Shelf and indicates their related geographic coordinates. It repeals Decree-Law No. 47771 of 1967, which established the closing lines and straight lines based on the European continental coast and the coasts of Angola supplement the baseline and defined the jurisdiction the territorial sea and the contiguous zone.
