Entry into force notes
This Law enters into force ten days after the date of its first official publication.
Abstract

This Law establishes objectives, forms and directions of support of the use of renewable energy. State regulation shall consist in creation of favourable conditions for production of electric and (or) thermal energy with the use of renewable energy sources with purpose of increasing share of renewable energy in use. State regulation includes: (a) validation and implementation of the programme of use of renewable energy sources; (b) licensing; (c) setting share of renewable energy in total energy output; and (d) technical regulation. State regulation envisages incentives for the production and use of renewable energy.
