Abstract This Law amends Law No. 13.467 on the adoption of measures for animal health protection. Amendments deal with the following issues: veterinary products, compulsory vaccinations, laboratory examinations and diagnostic tests, as prescribed by the specific regulations; purchasing or transporting animals, animals for slaughter or milk, official transit document, fees and other animal health and tax documents, when required by the specific regulations; registration of the establishment for the control of the animal population established by the Animal Sanitary Defense Body; animal welfare measures established in specific legislation; and veterinary products or supplies authorized by the competent official bodies, respecting the indications of conservation, legal prescriptions and other instructions related to the agricultural activity.
