Abstract This Law amends the State Policy on Family Agro-industry within the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Amendments deal with administrative and legal proceedings for requirements for family agribusiness property or farmer ownership(s) relative(s) or farmer(s) family(s) under individual management or collective, located in rural or urban areas, as well as small family farms for handmade processing, in order to benefit and/or transform materials materials from farms, livestock, fisheries, aquaculture, extractive and forestry, ranging from simple cases to the most complex, such as physical, chemical and/or biological operations.
