Abstract This Law, consisting of 16 articles and 2 Annexes, establishes the State Technical Cadastre for Potentially Polluting Activities and for other activities carried out by individuals or institutions, which need to use natural resources. These activities include: extraction, production, transport and trade of any potentially products dangerous for the environments, as well as to products and sub-products originated from fauna and flora. This State Cadastre, regulated by the State Delegation of IBAMA, integrates the National System on Environmental Information established by Federal Law No. 6.938, and its amendments. The Annexes list all the potentially polluting activities and establish class, category and level of risk of these activities.
