Abstract The present Law establishes legal basis for the demarcation of public and municipal land and plenary powers of state executive bodies and local self-government as regards regulation of land relations with the purpose of creation of the conditions for the realization of their constitutional rights to land, ensuring national sovereignty and the development of material and financial basis for local self-government. The Law consists of 4 Sections that contain 16 articles. Section 1 (arts. 1-9) lays down general provisions. Section 2 (Arts. 10-16) establishes the modalities of demarcation of public and municipal land. Section 3 contains transitional provisions. Section 4 lays down final provisions.
