Abstract This Law regulates state registration of trademarks of legal persons registered in accordance with the national legislation, legal protection of trademarks and utilization thereof. Trademarks shall be subject to registration by the authorized state body in the sphere of intellectual property. State registration of trademarks shall be voluntary. Use of denominations “Kyrgyz”, “State” and “National” and also indication of the denomination “Kyrgyz Republic” shall be performed by special authorization by the President and by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
