Abstract This Law regulates relations originating from state registration, legal protection and use of trademarks on the national territory. The authorized state institution in the sphere of protection of intellectual property rights shall be KYRGYZPATENT. The Act consists of 7 Sections divided into 27 articles: (1) general provisions; (2) legal protection of trademarks; (3) registration; (4) issuance of registration certificate; (5) exclusive right to trademarks; (6) cessation of legal protection of trademark; and (7) conclusive provisions.
