Abstract

This Law, consisting of 12 articles and 2 Annexes, establishes the State Technical Cadastre for Potentially Polluting Activities, as integrating instrument of the National Environmental System (SISNAMA). In addition, it establishes the Environmental Inspection Fee and offences and penalties for illegal activities carried out by individuals or institutions, which need to use natural resources within the State of Goiás. These activities include: extraction, production, transport and trade of any potentially products dangerous for the environments, as well as to products and sub-products originated from fauna and flora. The Annexes list all the potentially polluting activities that need an environmental authorization and establish class, category and level of risk of these activities.
